This extraordinary vintage vase from the Silver Crest Art Metal Company.

Silver Crest was the trademark used by the Smith Metal Arts Company of Buffalo; expert craftsman from the Heintz Art Metal Shop formed the new company in 1919, utilizing much of what they had learned, manufacturing incredible bronze items like this vase.

Heintz Art Metal Shop was founded in 1906, in New York by Otto Heintz. They discontinued their works in 1935 when a new name, Silver Crest, was taken.

The piece features an incredible, GOLD patina, perfectly complementing the decorative vase.

Beautiful Art Nouveau style decorations.

The hallmark featured on the bottom is the traditional "Silver Crest Decorated Bronze"  with a minuscule Smith Metal Arts Company logo in the center.

A production number 2010 can also clearly be seen underneath.

If you are a collector, you know these should never be polished.

If you are new to Silver Crest, the patina that develops over years adds value and beauty to these pieces.

Measurements: Height: 6 3/4"

We also have the second similar vase with a slightly DARKER patina.
